Acts from the first Sutasi talent quest in Asia will be seen live in Australia for the very first time during the One Movement conference in October.
TooKoo, Nikhil D’Souza and Biuret will make their way to Australia to showcase during the music festival part of the conference next month.Biuret from Seoul, South Korea was the overall winner of the very first Sutasi contest and will be spending time in Australia and the USA in 2010 working on their first album.
TooKoo was a Sutasi finalist from Beijing, China. They will treat Australia as their next major market and will make connections at One Movement to establish themselves in the festival circuit.
Nikhil D’Souza was the Sutasi winner for Solo Artists South Asia and the Grand Finalist for the Sutasi overall Pan Asian competition.
He is a spending time between India, Australia and the US working on his first album with production planned for Australia, Nashville and London.
Sutasi is the brainchild of Melbourne music identity Colleen Zulian whose vision foresaw the untapped talent pool from the Asian market more than 5 years ago. Sutasi has since developed into the premium talent contest for Asia, searching for real singers, songwriters and musicians and then developing the talent with Western resources.
One Movement will take place in Perth from October 16-18.
