Joe Jackson is denying that he is trying to exploit the children of Michael Jackson and get them into show business.
“I’m not encouraging them to do nothing,” he said in an interview with Larry King. “They have to be what they are, kids at the moment and be raised properly.”King asked if it were true that he wanted to tour “The Jackson 3”. “Not true, thanks a bunch of jive,” Joe Jackson said.
Joe Jackson also said that he had no contact with Michael. “Larry, let me cut to the chase. I could never get to him and I tried all I could. I could never get to him because I was barred away from him by security and that type of thing,” he said.
Joe Jackson said he was completely cut off from Michael.
King asked if he ever harmed Michael. “That’s a bunch of bull s,” he said. “Harm Michael for what? That’s my son. I loved him,” denying the widely held reports that he used to beat is son’s as children to make them perform better.
