Ever prolific and one of the hardest working bands in rock & roll, Leadfinger have just announced that their 4th album is set for release in February 2013 through legendary Australian label Citadel Records.
And that's not all, as an appetiser to the main event in February they are putting out a special limited Edition EP to end the year with a blast of rock'n'roll goodtimes.
The new EP titled, 'Ripped Genes & Analogue Dreams" is gonna be a bloody ripper and see's the boys take a sideways step from high octane rock & roll in order showcase their talent for power pop and jangly guitars a la their biggest influences - The Flamin Groovies, The Replacements, Big Star and The Smithereens! Goodie!
Ripped Genes & Analogue Dreams' features 7 new tracks and was recorded over winter at Sydney's DefWolf studios and at the bands own home studio on the rural fringe of Sydney. The E.P will be available through iTunes digitally and as a limited edition CD individually numbered and signed by the band. These limited edition copies are only available at the Leadfinger website or at gigs.
Speaking of which, Leadfinger will launch the E.P at the Sando in Newtown NSW on Saturday Nov 24th and Friday 7th December at Dicey Riley's Hotel in Wollongong NSW.
