The Australian music community including members of Cold Chisel, Rose Tattoo and You Am I will perform a benefit show for Rose Tattoo founding member Mick Cocks in Sydney on July 24.
Chisel’s Jimmy Barnes, Phil Small, Steve Prestwich and Ian Moss will perform at the show for Mick Cocks, who has been diagnosed with liver cancer.Rose Tattoo has had a tragic past. Pete Wells died from prostate cancer in March, 2006. Ian Rilen died from bladder cancer six months later. Temporary member Lobby Loyde died from lung cancer in 2007.
Titled ‘One of the Boys’, the show will also feature Rose Tattoo, You Am I, Screaming Jets, The Radiators, Mark Gable from Choirboys, Dave Tice & Mark Evans, Chris Turner, Lucy DeSoto and Shauna Jensen, along with house band Randall Waller, Clayton Doley, Dario Bortolin and Paul DeMarco.
The ‘One of the Boys’ benefit for Mick Cocks will be on Friday July 24 at the Enmore in Sydney.
Tickets are $49.90 + booking fee.
