WAM (The West Australian Music Industry Association) has opened entries for the WAM Song of the Year 2009.
Entries will be taken between Wednesday, July 15 and Friday August 14, 2009.The Grand Prize is $5000 cash, a 3 day recording sessions, a mastering session, pressing of 500 CDs and the chance for a publishing deal.
There are also categories for unpublished songwriters to compete in 10 genre categories.
Last year’s grand prize went to Roly Skender and The Tonics for ‘Feel’.
Entry forms the WAM Song of the Year will be available from Wednesday at www.wam.asn.au
