Willie Nelson has written and recorded the politically charged song 'Whatever Happened To Peace On Earth?' to benefit the National Veterans Foundation.
The cutting Nelson lyrics target the madness of the Iraq war with lyrics like "how much is a liar's word worth / And whatever happened to peace on earth".The song features guest appearances from Ben Harper, Jack Johnson and Doobie Brothers Michael McDonald and Patrick Simmons.
Nelson will release the song as a digital download on November 21st.
