John Farnham has added three more Melbourne shows to the Aussie tour bring the total in his hometown to 10.
The first five of the shows sold in the 15 minutes after going on sale. 55,000 tickets sold by the end of the first day.It has been three years since the last Farnham tour. “John has been planning to
play some dates for some time now,” manager Glenn Wheatley said in a statement. “His sabbatical had reached a natural end, and he very much wanted to perform again. He is so looking forward to these intimate lyric style theatres."
Fans can also look forward to the new Farnham compilation ‘The Essential 3.0’ in time for the tour. The album is feature for the very first time all of the John Farnham hits on one album.
There will also be a new studio album before the end of the year.
