Jack White is planning on beginning work on a solo album towards the end of this year.
Industry rag Music Connection said “Jack White hopes to start working on a solo album at the end of 2009,” although they offer no more information.We would like to postulate what a Jack White solo album would actually sound like? Would he go all out with lush strings and huge horn sections? Would he touch on electro?
Then again, twelve months ago I asked the same of a Dan Auerbach solo record, and look how great that turned out.
Time will tell.
