The first release from 2007 Australian Idol finalist Matt Corby is a very different sound to what you heard in the TV show.
Corby has positioned his sound closer to Jeff Buckley or acoustic Radiohead for the release of the EP ‘Song For...”Corby spent two years after Idol writing and developing his music to what now is described as “folk/rock”.
He has signed with Scorpio Music, the label behind Evermore, Operator Please and Lisa Mitchell.
Matt’s debut album is planned for 2010.
