Queen will head back to the studio to record their first album since the death of Freddie Mercury.
Guitarist Brian May has confirmed at his official website that the new record will feature former Free/Bad Company vocalist Paul Rodgers on lead vocals.Rodgers and Queen toured in 2005 and released a live album and DVD.
This will be the first Queen album in 15 years although May says it will sound completely different from anything Queen or Paul Rodgers have previously done.
There is no timing on when the album will be released. May is keeping the options open and if the sessions don't work out, he will abandon the project.
