Sydney band The Glass Ceiling and Adelaide act The Shiny Brights will be the support band for round one of The JD Set with You Am I.
Rusty Hopkinson of You Am I said the band was looking forward to taking the bands under their collective wing and thinks “that in ten years time any one of these groups could be either hugely successful rock ‘n roll stars living in mansions on the moon and practising skeet-shooting with their platinum records or they could be sitting in the pub with their mates from work telling them how they used to be in a band that once got to tour with You Am I and what a top bloke that Timmy Rogers was”."We're really pumped for the tour!" guitarist for The Glass Ceiling, CJ Morello said, “To be able to open for rock legends like You Am I will be awesome, and those crazy Shiny Bright-ers are good friends of ours, so it sounds like it's gonna be one long party!”.
The first show of the season is May 22 at The Zoo Brisbane. There is also more good news. All shows are free.
