Blackchords Will Launch Album This Friday

Melbourne buzz-band Blackchords will launch their debut self-titled album this Friday night at The Espy, St Kilda.

For the Blackchords CD, singer Nick Milwright has channeled influences from Radiohead, Coldplay and Jeff Buckley to deliver an album featuring a diversity of overwhelming sounds.

The new album features the song ‘Broken Bones’ that got the band noticed at the International Songwriting Competition. They made the final of two categories, Rock and Music Video with the track.

Blackchords will hit the stage at 11pm Friday night, with Wellyn and The Holy Sea kicking off the night from 11pm.

Tickets are $12 from The Espy or on the door.
