Beloved Oz electro artist Gotye will launch his third album in an extravaganza at the Sydney Opera House.
His forthcoming album Making Mirrors is ready to drop, looking at a release date on August 19, and the very next day he has a monster album launch at the Sydney Opera House.
He’s been invited by the Graphic Festival to bring animators and a ten-piece mini-orchestra to create a audio-visual feast.
They’ll also be screening an extra-special Shaun Tan’s Oscar-winning animation The Lost Thing with accompaniment by the composer Michael Yezerski.
He’ll release a follow-up single to ‘Eyes Wide Open’ in July, titled ‘Somebody I Used To Know’ featuring the white-hot up-and-comer Kimbra.
You can get exclusive presales to the Sydney Opera House show tomorrow, Thursday 18 May, by signing up to his mailing list at his dot com http://gotye.com or buy tickets from the Opera House from Monday 23 May
