The Dandy Warhols have released their new album, ‘This Machine’ today. The album release comes after the video for track “Sad Vacation” debuted last week, and was named this week’s Rage ‘Indie Clip Of The Week’.
'This Machine' marks the band's eighth official studio release, which comes after 18 years together, seven studio albums and several Australian tours. Recorded over the course of 2011 at The Dandy Warhols' rock clubhouse/entertainment megaplex The Odditorium, the album came together with the help of longtime engineer and sometimes producer Jeremy Sherrer and was mixed by Tchad Blake, who is well known for his recent work with The Black Keys.
Early press for the album has been strong, with TIME OFF claiming "There are some amazing tracks here, maybe some of the best heard all year".
