Bermuda born, half Canadian reggae musician Mishka says he is a real fan of Australian music.
As a music fan, Mishka has spent a bit of time touring with Torquay’s Xavier Rudd. “I am a big fan of Australian music,” he tells Undercover News. “Xavier Rudd, The Beautiful Girls. Going back a few years, the Go-Betweens, Men At Work. I listen to anything that is good, anything that resounds in my heart”.Mishka is the first signing to Matthew McConaughey’s new record label J.K. Livin. He also features on the soundtrack to McConaughey’s last movie ‘Surfer, Dude’.
Mishka’s new album, his third but first for the McConaughey J.K. Livin label, is Above The Bones. It was released in Australia this week.

Miska will perform at Bluesfest at Byron Bay this weekend, and then play Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club on April 16 and Sydney’s The Vanguard on April 17.
