Coolio says he is not guilty after being charged for alleged possession of a crack pipe.
The rapper, real name Artis Ivey Leon Jr, was arrested on March 6 at Los Angeles International Airport after security scanners allegedly found drugs in his luggage and a smoking device, reported to be a crack pipe.Coolio told the Superior Court in Los Angeles that he was innocent of a felony drug charge and misdemeanour counts of battery and possession of a smoking device.
He is currently out on £6,750 ($10,000 bail), and is scheduled to appear in court for another hearing on April 20.
