George O'Dowd (aka Boy George) has pleased not guilty to charges of false imprisonment after his Norwegian escort claimed that George handcuffed him to a wall.
The 46 year old Culture Club singer was alleged to have imprisoned his 28 year old companion Audun Carlsen in April last year at his home in Shoreditch in East London.George faced the court under his real name George O'Dowd.
Carlsen claimed he went to George's apartment for a photoshoot although the George defense claimed Carlsen was a prostitute.
George did not speak other than to plead "not guilty" at the 20 minute hearing. He was released on bail and has been banned from having any contact with Carlsen.
