Tom Simpson from Snow Patrol is a big, big fan of vinyl records and the record store.
As Record Store Day Australia approaches on April 18, Tom dropped into Undercover and talked about the fun of discovering music in a record store.“The thing I love about record stores is finding something that you haven’t been looking for, he tells Undercover News. I trolled vintage record shops from the age of 15 going in not knowing what I wanted to buy and walking out with a bag of the most joyous music. The thing I enjoy about record stores is the surprise”.
Record Store Day Australia is your good excuse to get off the computer and get some good, healthy exercise thumbing through the music of your favourite music store.
More than 300 stores across Australia will celebrate Record Store Day.
