The only place you will get to see Santana perform for the next two years will be in Las Vegas.
The iconic guitarist has has a two year deal to perform an all-hits show a The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel from May 27.The show has been christened ‘Supernatural Santana: A Trip Through The Hits’.
Santana will perform a lot of material he has not done live in years but with Vegas megabucks being waved in your face, those tired old songs suddenly don’t seem so tired do they!
The show will go back to the very first Santana hit ‘Jingo’ from 1969, his first Top 10 song ‘Evil Ways’ and right through to his latest music.
“It is a great honor for Santana to be the first resident performer at the new Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Because I still live the principles of the 1960s, and because I'm a hippie at heart, 'A Trip Through The Hits' is designed to bring everyone in the audience together as one," said Carlos Santana in a statement. "I invite you to join our experience?we'll mix up a little practical spirituality with a rebel-from-the-street vibe, and with lots of incredible music. My wish is for it to be a night that will move you to dance, to cry, to laugh and to feel the totality and fullness of being alive."
Santana will perform 36 shows this year at The Joint.
Tickets are priced from $79 to $299.
