Kylie Minogue will MC part of the Sound Relief charity concert at from Melbourne this weekend.
Although common knowledge that Kylie was to appear at Sound Relief, thanks to Molly a week ago, organiser Michael Gudisnki made the official announcement today.“To me, Kylie is Melbourne. Her attendance is the cherry on the top of an already phenomenal lineup. She’s our girl,” Gudinski said in a statement.
Undercover has heard that Barry Gibb will appear at the Sydney event and perform some of his biggest Bee Gees hits appropriate for the occasion such as ‘Tragedy’ and ‘How Can You Mend A Broken Heart’.
Other highlights will be the first time Hunters & Collectors have played together in more than a decade, and Midnight Oil with Peter Garrett at the Melbourne show.
The shows will be held simultaneously in Sydney and Melbourne this Saturday (March 14).
The Melbourne line-up is Augie March, Bliss N Eso with Paris Wells, Gabriella Cilmi, Hunters & Collectors, Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson with Troy Cassar-Daley, Jack Johnson, Jet, Kings Of Leon, Liam Finn, Midnight Oil, Paul Kelly, Split Enz and Wolfmother. Kylie Minogue will appear as the 'special guest MC',
Appearing in Sydney, Architecture in Helsinki, Coldplay, Eskimo Joe, Hoodoo Gurus, Icehouse, Jet, Josh Pyke, Little Birdy, Taylor Swift, The Presets, Wolfmother, You Am I.
The show will now also be broadcast on Channel V.
