Parkway Drive Win First ARIA

Parkway Drive have been announced as early ARIA Award winners with Deep Blue winning the Best Hard Rock / Best Metal Album award.

With the ARIA Awards taking place this Sunday (November 7) in Sydney, Parkway Drive grabbed an early one for their third album.

ARIA has also announced Djan Djan has taken out the Best World Music Album award and Best Music DVD has gone to Sound Relief.

More awards for Best Blues & Roots Album, Best Children’s Album and Best Original Soundtrack will be announced later today.

The 2010 ARIA Awards will be held at the Sydney Opera House this Sunday.
