Rage Against The Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha was in Phoenix, Arizona last week protesting loony lawman Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Arpaio isn’t content with American law. He makes up his own rules, somewhat based loosely on old Charles Bronson and Clint Eastwood movies it would seem.Rocha says he has “deputized vigilantes” and created a “state of terror” in his community.
“Without the proper warrants, he raids the homes and workplaces of janitors and gardeners,” De la Rocha told protestors at the rally. “At routine traffic stops he detains and deports mothers, violently separating them from their children, who are left abandoned.”
Arpaio is currently under review. Four US congressman have lodged a complaint with Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano over his actions and demanding an investigation.
