Fiction Plane, the band featuring son of Sting Joe Sumner, will release a live album and DVD next month.
On December 7, 2008, Fiction Plane performed in Amsterdam at the Paradiso. The show was captured for entirety.“I’ve never liked live albums that were faked,” says Sumner. “When we play live, it is not a recital of our live recordings. We do everything we can to put on the best show for the crowd every night.”
The set was mixed by Ash Howes (Kylie Minogue Eurythmics) and then mixed by Andy Walters at Abbey Road.
Fiction Plane supported The Police on their world tour a few years back.
