The 2nd annual Australian Music Prize has finalized it's list of judges, which include most of last year's panel and a few new ones.
Sarah Blasko, Iva Davies, John Course and Joel Quartermain from Eskimo Joe all make a welcome addition to the list, while the retail section has spread out across the country including such regional additions as Marilyn McLeod from the Geraldton CD Centre and three members of staff at the suburban Leading Edge Music.Some smaller radio stations are getting more of a heads up, with Dan Zilber from Sydney's FBI Radio and Andrew Khedori from 2SER.
If you're an Australian band and want to enter the AMP, and be in the running to win a $25,000 prize for having the "best" album of 2006, then you need to head to www.australianmusicprize.com.au, click on "artists" and then "enter here" for details.
You have until December 1st to get your entry in.
Last year the prize was won Melbourne band, The Drones for their album '...Wait Long By The River And The Bodies Of Your Enemies Will Float By'.
