Australian Music Prize Shortlist Announced

The Australian Music Prize is back for the sixth time and the shortlist of artists vying for the $AU30,000 prize has been announced.

The nine acts that made it to the shortlist are:
 
Cloud Control - Bliss Release
Dan Kelly - Dan Kelly’s Dream
Eddy Current Suppression Ring - Rush To Relax
Gareth Liddard - Strange Tourist
Pikelet - Stem
Richard In Your Mind - My Volcano
Sally Seltman - Heart That’s Pounding
Tame Impala - Innerspeaker
The Holidays - Post Paradise
 
The winner will be announced on March 3 when they’ll join the ranks of previous winners The Drones, Augie March, The Mess Hall, Eddy Current Suppression Ring and Lisa Mitchell.
