After a brief respite with his Eraser project, Thom Yorke has confirmed that Radiohead have begun work on their seventh album.
Yorke hinted at an initial struggle in getting the album underway, stating on the band's website, "We've started the record properly now. Staring to get somewhere I think. Finally."Yorke also used the forum to discuss his concerns with climate change, rallying readers to support the Big Ask campaign. The singer wrote:
"We are hassling all MPs in the UK to write to our glorious leader and get a bill that commits us all to reducing carbon emissions 3 per cent a year. It's a start. It has to be law. Otherwise its never going to happen. And it has to."
