Special Beat is Neville Staple from The Specials, ‘Ranking’ Roger from The Beat and Pauline Black from Selector.Together, the members of Special Beat were responsible for hits like ‘A Message To You Rudy’, ‘Ghost Town’ and ‘Tears Of A Clown’.
The 2tone Records bands were the sound of British Ska in the 1980s.
The Specials had 3 albums and 7 Top 10 UK hits. The Beat delivered 3 albums in their day and The Selector produced two gold records in ‘Too Much Pressure’ and ‘Dance Craze’.
