Celebrity chef Rachel Ray is planning a party at South by Southwest 2009, following the success of last year’s event.
So far The Hold Steady and Airbourne Toxic Event are the heavy rumours, at least according to MTV.com.Last year the show featured performances by Holy Fuck, The Faint and even Z.Z. Top’s Billy Gibbons made a guest appearance with Ray's husband's band The Cringe.
Despite a sceptical crowd, myself included, this party was actually really enjoyable and the best catered party in Austin that week.
It took place at Beauty Bar last year, but this year will likely be at an as yet unconfirmed venue.
According to MTV.com, the party is slated for March 21.
