P.J. Harvey has recorded the score for a Broadway production of Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen’s 1890 play Hedda Gabler.
The score will consist largely of guitar feedback, according to the New York Daily News.Harvey told the paper, “I've wanted to do theatre or film music since I first began writing music. I've just never been approached before.”
The play was directed by Ian Rickson and is now playing at the American Airlines Theatre until March 29.
