The 150th A Day On The Green show will be the Leonard Cohen and Paul Kelly performance in the Yarra this weekend.
A Day On The Green is the brainchild of Mick and Anthea Newton.The first event was on January 26, 2001. The line-up that day was Renee Geyer, Stephen Cummings and James Morrison (the Aussie one).
A Day On The Green has grown to now take place in 18 locations across Australia.
More than 750,000 people have attended the show.
Headline acts have included Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker, John Fogerty, Crosby Stills & Nash and Jackson Browne.
The 2008/2009 season features John Mellencamp & Sheryl Crowe, Alicia Keys, Leonard Cohen, Simply Red, Jimmy Barnes, Hoodoo Gurus and Paul Kelly.
