So `the left`s` Alan Colmes is leaving his Bush-loving friend Sean Hannity on Fox, hey. Colmes, the token liberal on the Fox Network, was serenaded off his show by Hall & Oates who visited the Daily Show to play their tune for John Stewart.
“How does one say goodbye to Alan Colmes, a person who has touched up for so long,” Stewart said.Hall & Oates rewrote their classic ‘She’s Gone’ to fit the occasion.
The song starts off, “Anytime you need a token liberal, nothing but a body to fill a chair, the barest shadow of a person, Alan Colmes is always there”.
Hannity, known globally for his biased reporting and lack of sense of humour, responded to the Hall & Oates performance with, “I was actually thinking of Jon [Stewart] as a co-host but I needed someone who could be smart and funny without 50 writers and two has-been rockers who are badly in need of Botox."
