Western Australia’s finest musical export The Kill Devil Hills are heading over east to record their third album with producer Burke Reid (The Mess Hall, The Drones).
It will be the band’s first record since losing Justin Castley (bass) and Lachlan Gurr (mandolin/banjo). They have been replaced by Ryan Dux (The Floors, Will Stoker and the Embers) on bass and are said to have a more “electrified” sound. The band will then take their sweet time recording in Sydney in January.
If you live in Melbourne or Perth, you can (and really REALLY should) check the band out as they head around Australia on the way to the studio.
