Beyonce officially wrote her hit song 'Baby Boy' despite a court action claiming copyright infringement with the song.
Minneapolis singer-songwriter Jennifer Armour claimed in court that she sent a demo of her song 'Got a Little Bit of Love for You' to Mathew Knowles, Beyonce's father and President of Music World Entertainment.The suit was filed in the United States District Court in Houston in June 2005.
The case fell apart when the court heard how 'Baby Boy' was written prior to February 10, 2003, one month before Armour submitted her demo.
Judge Nancy Atlas ruled that Beyonce and the song's fellow songwriters Sean Paul, Scott Storch, Robert Waller and Jay-Z.
