At just 18 years of age, country singer Taylor Swift looks set to grab the number one spot in America next week with more than 500,000 sales.
Taylor was honoured by the 2007 Nashville Songwriters Association in 2007 as Songwriter and Artist of the Year.She was the first female artist in 44 years to score five Top 10 singles from a debut album.
The new album ‘Fearless’ logged up enough sales in day one to prime the itself for a number one debut.
Taylor is also about to tour Australia for the first time. Considering how big she will be even before this year is out, she is playing tiny Aussie venues. (I think we are meant to refer to them as intimate venues).
