The Taylor Swift album ‘Speak Now’ has sold more than one million units in the past week in the USA.
Hitsdailydouble.com is reporting that ‘Speak Now’ will sell around.
The last album to sell one million in one week in America was Lil Wayne ‘The Carter III’ in 2008. 50 Cent ‘Massacre’ did 1.14 million sales in the first week back in 2005.
According to Hits, the biggest selling first week sales for a country album still belongs to Garth Brooks for ‘Double Live’.
However, Taylor has topped Shania Twain was before today had the biggest selling country debut for a female artist when ‘Up’ sold 874,000 units in the first week back in 2002.
