Sir Paul McCartney has been named as terrorist threat if he goes ahead with plans to play in Israel.
The Sunday Express reports that Palestinian terrorist Omar Bakri has threatened McCartney`s life if he performs in Israel.Steve Marinucci from Beatles site Abbeyrd`s Beatles Page says that “it should be noted the story has not been picked up by any credible news sources” and that only the Sunday Express has gone with the story.
McCartney certainly is not taking the threat seriously commenting, “I`ve heard so many great things about Tel Aviv and Israel, but hearing is one thing and experiencing it for yourself is another. We are planning to have a great time and a great evening. We can`t wait to get out there and rock.”
Paul McCartney`s Friendship First In Israel concert will be held at Hayarkon Park, Tel Aviv, Israel in September 25th.
