Paul McCartney is about to release expanded and remastered deluxe editions of his first two solo albums ‘McCartney’ and ‘McCartney II’.

‘McCartney’ was originally released in April, 1970 one month before the final album by The Beatles ‘Let It Be’. ‘McCartney II’ was released 10 years later in May, 1980.

In between, McCartney recorded the ‘Ram’ album, credited to Paul and Linda McCartney, and then started a decade of albums with Wings, starting with ‘Wild Life’ (1971), ‘Red Rose Speedway’ (1973), ‘Band On The Run’ (1973), ‘Venus and Mars’ (1975), ‘Wings At The Speed Of Sound’ (1976), ‘London Town’ (1976) and his final Wings album ‘Back To The Egg’ (1979).

‘McCartney’ featured the classic ‘Maybe I’m Amazed’, still performed today live by Sir Paul. ‘McCartney II’ featured the hit song ‘Coming Up’, a number one hit worldwide.

The two discs will feature never-before released bonus material including the out-takes ‘Suicide’ and ‘Don’t Cry Baby’ and demo ‘Women Kind’ from the 1970 sessions and the unreleased ‘Blue Sway’ from the McCartney II sessions, complete with a new video.
