For more than a decade, Neil Young has been talking about releasing unreleased works from his archives and it is finally going to happen. The first in the archive series will feature the original Crazy Horse line-up, recorded live at New York's Fillmore East on March 6th and 7th, 1970.
'Live At Fillmore East' will be a 6 track CD and DVD featuring the original line-up with Danny Whitten on guitar and vocals. Whitten died of a drug overdose in 1972 and was replaced by Frank Sampedro. Sampedro, drummer Ralph Molina and bass player Billy Talbot continue as Crazy Horse with Young to this day.The DVD version of 'Live At Fillmore East' will feature a Hi-Res stereo version of the album as well as rare concert photos from the night, Young's handwritten song lyrics and archival press articles.
