Director Jonathan Demme will film the final two shows of Neil Young’s ‘Le Noise’ tour for a concert movie.
Demme worked with Young previously on the unreleased ‘Trunk Show’ (2009) and ‘Heart of Gold’ (2006) films. His credits include ‘Silence of the Lambs’, ‘Philadelphia’ and ‘Married To The Mob’. He also directed the Talking Heads concert movie ‘Stop Making Sense’.
Young will conclude his ‘Le Noise’ tour at Massey Hall in Toronto, Canada tonight and tomorrow (May 10 and 11, 2011).
He will then tour for seven shows with the Buffalo Springfield reunion from June 1.
The ‘Le Noise’ live show is expected to be released later this year.
