Rod Stewart will launch his first rock album in eight years at a show from New York's Nokia Theater on October 9th.
The concert will be filmed and screen live in theaters across the USA.The album 'Still The Same ... Great Rock Classics of our Time' is a return to rock from Stewart who has recorded 20th century American standards on his last four albums, The Great American Songbooks. The Songbooks have sold collectively more than 15 million units in the USA alone, making them Stewart's most successful releases in more than 20 years.
The new record features covers of songs from Bob Seger, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan and Bonnie Tyler.
'Still The Same' will be released on October 10th.
