Inertia Records is about to reissue one of the lost classics of the early 70s, ‘Cold Fact’ by Rodriguez.
Sixto Diaz Rodriguez recorded his debut album in 1969 and released it for the first time in 1970.The music of Rodriguez went relatively unnoticed until Sydney DJ Holger Brockman started to play the singer songwriter on his Double J radio show.
Rodriguez became a cult-classic in Australia and has bubbled from time to time over the years.
Rodriguez most recently was back in vogue when he toured for the 2007 Byron Bay Blues Festival and did a run of sell-out shows across Australia.
Sydney based Inertia will reissue ‘Cold Fact’ on September 13.
