Silverchair's 'Young Modern' album is about to get an upgrade in the United States. A remix of 'Straight Lines' will be stripped onto a 2008 edition of the current album.
'Straight Lines' was the lead track from 2003's 'Diorama'.The remix was done by The Presets. The Presets member Julian Hamiliton was also co-writer of the 'Young Modern' track 'Straight Lines', as well as three other songs from the album. He also often tours with as a member of the band.
Julian and fellow Presets member Kim are also part of Daniel Johns other band The Dissociatives.
Silverchair will release The Greatest View EP this Tuesday via iTunes.
