John Lennon`s killer Mark David Chapman has been denied parole for the 5th time.
Chapman murdered the Beatle outside his New York apartment on December 8, 1980 and has been held at the Attica Correctional Facility since 1981.Chapman was sentenced to life in prison for Lennon`s murder but was entitled to a parole hearing after 20 years. In the 5 times since 2001 that he has been before the parole board, parole has been denied.
Chapman was 26 when he murdered Lennon. He is now 53.
