The Police Go Out With A Classic Rock Send-Off

The Police have played their last show and altered their setlist to include a few classic oldies.

The band opened their Madison Square Garden show on Thursday night with the Cream classic ‘Sunshine Of Your Love’ and opened the first encore with Jimi Hendrix’s ‘Purple Haze’.

The show also featured three surprise guest performers. Sting’s daughters joined the band for ‘Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic’.

The Police played 150 dates on their reunion tour and grossed over $358 million.

The tour has been captured for the soon to be released DVD ‘Certifiable’.
