One Day As A Lion, a new band featuring Zach de la Rocha (Rage Against The Machine) and John Theodore (ex Mars Volta) have confirmed a deal has been inked with Anti Records.
The band, who are self described as a "warning delivered and a promise kept," will release their debut EP on July 19 worldwide.The band take their name from a photograph taken in 1970 by George Rodriguez of some graffiti saying "It is better to live one day as a lion than a thousand years as a lamb."

In other news, Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello's next solo effort will be called 'The Fabled City' and will be released under the name Tom Morello: The Nightwatchman.
