Something For Kate's Paul Dempsey is working on a solo album, his first in 10 years.
In 1998, Dempsey released 'An Empty Flight' under the name Scared of Horses, but it was a one-man band. That album featured his songs with guest singers including Jamie Hutchings (Bluebottle Kiss) and Glen Richards (Augie March).The new album will be his first new music since the last studio album from Something For Kate, 'Desert Lights' in 2006.
This year, SFK also released the live album 'Live At The Corner'.
Dempsey has been writing and recording the album though out the year and will release it before the end of 2008.
A date and title is yet to be announced.
