Steve Winwood joined Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on stage at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday and performed a Winwood classic 'Gimme Some Loving'.
Winwood was 16-years old when he wrote and recorded the classic hit with the Spencer Davis Group. On Tuesday, he was in New York supporting Petty and the song was an interesting exclusion from his own set.
As it turns out, Winwood was saving it to perform with Petty. As well as 'Gimme Some Loving', Steve Winwood and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers also played Winwood's old Blind Faith song 'Can't Find My Way Home'.
