Herbie Hancock has scheduled a one-off performance of his Grammy Album of the Year 'River: The Joni Letters' for London's Abbey Road studios next week and he will be joined by Corrine Bailey Rae.
The show will be filmed for the music series 'Live from Abbey Road'.Hancock will have Sonya Kitchell on vocals for much of the show. The 19-year-old Massachusetts singer has previously supported Joe Jackson and was discovered by Hancock for this tour.
Herbie Hancock won two Grammy Awards for 'River: The Joni Letters' this year, including the main going for 'Album of the Year'.
The Abbey Road show will be filmed on June 26th.
