Coldplay have played the first of three freebies in London to launch 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends'.
Over coming weeks, the band will play a series of free shows in Europe and the USA.Singer Chris Martin joked about the ticket price telling the audience, "what can I say, we're money grabbing whores".
The show featured much of the 4th album as well as favourites from the earler three.
