Joe Jackson doesn't have a problem with his foray into the advertising industry. His song 'One More Time' is currently being used in a Taco Bell commercial in the United States.
Joe says he is comfortable with the use of the song in a commercial, and the income isn't bad either. "I saw the commercial a couple of weeks ago in New York and it was a shock to see it," he tells Undercover News. "It is something that I don't see anything wrong with anymore. Maybe 20 years ago I would have said "no I don't want my songs in commercials". But you know what, you get paid for it and it is more exposure for your song. I don't think anyone in the world seriously thinks that I am endorsing Taco Bell. So really, why not?".Jackson will make a return visit to Australia in a few weeks for a national tour. While not letting out any secrets about the show, all he will say is that "it will be old stuff, new stuff and some surprises. You've got to have the surprises or why bother going to the show. You might as well just stay at home and listen to the album. We do some pretty weird covers. Some of them are almost perverse".
So what are these strange covers? "I can tell you that we go from A-Z. Abba to Frank Zappa".
